Frightfully Festive Fun at Plummer Park

Little boos, big smiles, and plenty of Halloween spirit filled Plummer Park on Saturday, October 17, 2026, as the City of West Hollywood’s Youth Halloween Carnival treated families to an afternoon of frightfully festive fun.

This year’s expanded celebration gave young revelers plenty to enjoy, with carnival games, a pumpkin patch, a trackless train, spooky attractions, and arts and crafts. An enhanced tiny tot zone gave the littlest pumpkins a special space to play, while live music and dancing kept spirits high. The Costume Showcase gave children a chance to show off their Halloween best — because putting together the perfect costume is serious boo-siness.

Four-legged friends got in on the Howl-o-ween action, too. A new “Fang-tastic” Pet Zone featured a Pet Costume Showcase, paw-print keepsakes, and pet tarot card readings. The festivities also coincided with the official opening of the new dog park at Plummer Park, giving neighborhood pups and their people something extra to wag about.

Organized by the City of West Hollywood’s Recreation Services Division, the free celebration brought neighbors together for an afternoon of creativity, play, and community connection. With treats, tails, and Halloween adventures around every corner, it was a gourd time to be in West Hollywood!
