The City of West Hollywood hosted its 2026 Public Safety Awards & Luncheon on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, recognizing organizations and individuals who made significant contributions toward enhancing community safety in West Hollywood.
The event took place at the City of West Hollywood’s City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room. Community members gathered for a luncheon in the Auto Court area outside the Council Chambers before attending the formal awards presentation inside. Admission to the event was free and open to the public.
The annual awards ceremony celebrated the collaborative efforts of public safety partners whose work strengthened community safety initiatives, public service programs, and neighborhood partnerships throughout the city.
This year’s Public Safety Awards were presented to members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Station, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the City of West Hollywood’s Neighborhood & Business Safety Division/Code Enforcement team, and the West Hollywood Security Ambassadors.
Honorees were recognized for their extraordinary efforts in public safety programs and events, their commitment to strengthening partnerships within the community, and their demonstrated leadership in helping create a safer environment for residents, businesses, and visitors.
This annual event highlights the importance of collaboration among law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, City staff, and community-based safety teams in addressing public safety needs across West Hollywood.
