Introducing The Huxley: West Hollywood’s Newest Luxury Residential Community

“Faces of WeHo” Art Installation Unveiled Along La Brea Ave., Putting a “Face” to the Previously Unbranded Luxury Lifestyle Community

The all-inclusive luxury leasing community currently under development on the eastern edge of West Hollywood now has a name, as well as a “Face” to put to its name. Residents of the 187-unit residential/retail development located at the southeast corner of Fountain Avenue and La Brea Avenue will now call “The Huxley” their home.”

A 44-foot x 7-foot art installation, titled “Faces of WeHo,” was unveiled on the The Huxley, along La Brea Avenue, putting a face to the previously unbranded development while construction continues. The installation features a series of photographs of West Hollywood residents looking through a variety of viewfinders.

Developed by a joint partnership between the Monarch Group and Essex Property Trust, The Huxley is scheduled to be completed by Spring 2014 and will begin taking residential lease applications in September 2013. The Huxley was designed by award-winning architectural firm Newman Garrison + Partners and will feature a sophisticated, contemporary design that integrates street-front retail and restaurant space, landscaped sidewalk frontage, and sustainable design features to transform this section of La Brea Avenue into an active new boulevard ready for shoppers, dog-walkers and Sunday strollers.

Offering a unique opportunity for all-inclusive luxury living in a desirable West Hollywood location, The Huxley will include spacious courtyards and groundscape, a rooftop pool deck, a clubhouse and fitness center, individual unit balconies, innovative use of materials and scaled massing that adds detail and rhythm to the street facades.

Leading all branding and marketing efforts for The Huxley is The Agency, the Beverly Hills-based luxury real estate marketing firm and brokerage. Along with Susan Manrao Consulting, The Agency has been tasked with designing and delivering all branding elements for the community -- from the amenities offered to programming, design aesthetic and retail partners.
